Public Transportation

If you’re looking for convenient transit between Southwest Florida International Airport and your destination within the Fort Myers area, consider LeeTran, the county’s public transportation service. LeeTran Airport Service, 239-533-8726 (LEE-TRAN), offers hourly service between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. to a transfer point at Daniels Parkway and U.S. 41 in Fort Myers, with connections to other routes. LeeTran also operates bus and trolley routes throughout the area, including free seasonal trolleys (late November through April) on Fort Myers Beach and downtown in the Fort Myers River District.

The Silver King Beach Shuttle

Get to Fort Myers Beach easily – and have some fun along the way – when you take the Silver King catamaran from Tarpon Marina in Cape Coral to Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant on Fort Myers Beach. The shuttle is complimentary for guests at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, but any visitor can book passage through the Tarpon Marina's ship store.
